The Foot Steps of Water

This is a poem by one of Iranians best poets: Sohrab Sepehri
"The Foot Steps of Water"
Life's a pleasant tradition
Life's wing is vast as death
Life's a jump the size of love
Life's not something,
we put on the mantel of habit and forget

Prefetch In WindowsXP

Prefetching is the process of bringing data and code pages into memory from disk before it's demanded.
What is the Performane Benefit of This process?
prefetch operations will even be more efficient because all the data to be read in is now stored physically on the disk in the order it will be read. Since the number of files defragmented for prefetching is usually only in the hundreds, this defragmentation is much faster than full defragmentations. Read More From MSDN

Can You Recognize the Poster?

Is there any Japanese movies fan here? Have you seen the Japanese version of "the Ring"? I watched both this one and the Amercian version but I couldn't understand why they bought the right of the script and then made another similar movie. Just the environment and the actors are different. And of course the girl in the Japanese one is more horrible than the other one. In American version she reminds you of many many horror movies we have seen before. It doesn't seem original.
I am thinking about finding more Japanese movies and watch them (I am already a fan of Akira Kurosawa).
This poster belongs to the "Seven Samurai", one of my favourites, with Mifone, as the samurai.
Can anyone recommend a good Japanese movie?

Windows Media Diagnostic Tool

Occasionally users encounter problems when using Windows Media Player or Windows Movie Maker. Troubleshooting the cause of these problems can be difficult due to system configuration variables, such as installed hardware, drivers, and other programs. Often, identifying these system variables can be a time consuming process.
The Windows Media Diagnostic Tool (WMDiag) simplifies troubleshooting by gathering system configuration information and packaging it into a single compressed file that can be sent to a product support professional for review.(Via Microsoft)
