Beautiful Snow

 No Subject:
It started to snow outside. Beautiful snowflakes are coming down from heaven. White, innocent. Joining the soil at last. From heaven to dust, again. Waiting for their turn to go up and return to their home, to their type and to their origin, again. The cycle must go on.

Dog on a Chip

A cool name, "Dog on a Chip (DoC)". I think our police force in Iran must buy lots of these chips which can sniff like a real dog for arresting drug smugglers who enter from east borders.
In Arlanda airport in Stockholm, Sweden, there is a giant dog (the police officer is giant, too!) whose responsibility is just sniffing the suitcases and people for drugs. Some passengers told that they even bark for some drugs like Acetaminophen Codeine! I had brought about three packages (30 tablets) in my suitcase and I told to myself: ok, now they are going to turn around my suitcases, but when I passed that sniffing dog, nothing happened! I was surprised. Later I asked some friends about that and they told that because those tablets we have in Iran have just a percentage of the drug they are supposed to have, so the dog doesn't feel them! This is the reason that these Acetaminophens do not work!
Anyway, read about these new sensors from CNN/Technology.

The Peeg:A Peripheral for PDAs, Stimulate Brain Activity

Peeg, short for "personal electroencephalogram," is designed to stimulate different types of brain waves by sending positive waves to the wearer. Company literature says Peeg is the "world's best mobile digital brain charger."  Read the original story.
If this is true then I have to but one. Of course after buying the PDA, if I could afford!

Gothic metal band formed in 1992 by singer/guitarist/bassist/drummer Markus Stock and keyboarder Andreas.Empyrium music consisted of atmospheric and melancholic gothic metal.1996 saw the release of A Wintersunset. In 1997, Empyrium recorded Songs of Moors & Misty Fields with help from flutist/cellist Nadine. In 1999, Empyrium released Where at Night the Wood Grouse Plays, which consisted of acoustic folk noir of Wagner-inspired dimensions. In 2002, Empyrium recorded Weiland.Weiland is the swansong of German duo Empyrium and a romantic tribute to the greatness and beauty of Nature. Musically, the album continues in the same vein as the previous effort Where at Night the Wood Grouse Plays as acoustic guitars, cello and piano are combined to invoke feelings of love, loss and awe.
